South-of-the-border insanity!

This week at The B-Movie Clubhouse we delve into more Mexican madness from Juan’s Mexican Horrors Vault with The Rider of the Skulls (El Charro de las Calaveras) from 1965. The film was directed by Alfredo Salazar.

A masked, Zorro-like figure in a skull-and-crossbones emblazoned shirt who rides the range fighting monsters and supernatural threats whenever they pop up, which appears to be quite frequently.

Nothing Human Loves Forever

This week at The B-Movie Clubhouse with the recent passing of David Bowie we thought we would cover one of his films. So I picked The Hunger from 1983. The film was directed by Tony Scott and stars Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie and Susan Sarandon.

Also Nic is out this week so we will have the Nic-Bot and our friend from the U.K. Mark Mawston will be joining us.

The Egyptian vampire lady Miriam subsists upon the blood of her lovers. In return the guys or girls don’t age… until Miriam has enough of them. Unfortunately that’s currently the case with John, so his life expectancy is below 24 hours. Desperately he seeks help from the famous Dr. Sarah Roberts. She doesn’t really believe his story, but becomes curious and contacts Miriam … and gets caught in her ban, too.
