Episode 484: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Mary may not like musicals, but in this episode of The B-Movie Cast, Nic and special guest Mark Mawston have found one movie musical that she can enjoy: the cult classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. That’s right, we’re taking a trip to transsexual Transylvania and checking out Tim Curry’s most iconic roll! So, grab a stiff drink and put on your dancing shoes because we’re about to rock-n-roll with the longest-running film in history: “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”!

Episode 461: Big Trouble in Little China

The B-Movie Cast is back! Mary and Nic are joined by Mark Mawston and this week we’re checking out a John Carpenter classic: “Big Trouble in Little China”! This 1986 20th Century Fox release was, like many of Carpenter’s films, not a box office success, but quickly developed a cult following and became a hit on home video. So get ready to dive into long-haul trucking, Kung-Fu, Chinese mysticism, and more snappy dialogue than you can shake a six-demon bag at as the B-Movie Cast checks out “Big Trouble in Little China” as part of our unintentional series of Victor Wong movies!

Episode 416: Reptilicus!

Mary, Nic and Juan are back! This time the gang is checking out something new… a Danish Kaiju flick: “Reptilicus”! The film was produced by the company behind many of our favorite B-Movies: American International Pictures. They partnered with Danish production company Saga Studios and filmed and released two separate versions: one in Denmark and one in the United States.

Since none of us speak Danish, we’re checking out the English language version. So grab some snacks, a cold drink and get ready for some green slime spitting, giant reptile, crazy dialogue. sometimes slightly out of focus fun with “Reptilicus”!

Oh and take a minute to check out Nic’s new film project: Wretch coming out on iTunes January 29th!

Nic, Mary, Brother D and I will talk about a movie I’ve never seen before that a came across while I was searching Archive.org on my ROKU box one evening. The film is called “The Devil Bat” from 1940. As fate would have it about a week after I watched the film author Peter H. Brothers emailed me about his new book called “The Devil Bat Diaries”. So I will be interviewing Peter on an up coming show.

Plus we have some great feedback.
