This episode of the B-Movie cast is a bit different. Mary was going to be out of touch for 8-12 weeks with the nuclear plant shutdown she normally works. That didn’t happen because she retired from that gig due to concerns about working with a lot of people, in confined spaces for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week (and we’re glad she decided to quit that gig). However, in preparation for her outage we recorded a few episodes to have ‘in the can’. This is one of those episodes!
Special guest host for this show is Nik Havert! He’s the man behind the new book “The Golden Age of Disaster Cinema: A Guide to the Films, 1950-1979”. He also loves to introduce people to new music through his blog – 7th Level Music (http://www.7thlevelmusic.com/). So we asked him to do a special music cast for the show! Tune and check out some of Nik’s favorite monster themed music!
