Episode 475: The Batwoman (1968)

The B-Movie Cast is back and Mary and Nic are in for a treat as Juan brings out the 1968, female luchador film and extreme copyright violation that is “The Bat Woman” (AKA “La Mujer Murcielago”). Yes, she’s a crime-fighting, millionaire who dresses up in bits and pieces of the Adam West Batman suit to form her ‘Bat-kini’. She’s saving the world’s wrestlers from a fish-loving mad scientist who’s using pineal fluid from athletes to create his own personal fishman! So, grab some tartar sauce and your lobster bib and get ready to take a bite out of “The Bat Woman” on the new B-Movie Cast!

Episode 452: Neutron VS the Death Robots

Hello friends and welcome to the newest episode of the B-Movie cast. This is a special episode as we are dedicating it to the memory of a dear friend of the show, B-Movie fan and friend, Scott Turk. Scott passed away just before we recorded this cast, so we wanted to dedicate it to his memory. If you would like to honor Scott’s memory, please make a donation in his name to one of these charities: Doctors Without Borders, Water.org, or Georgia Public Broadcasting. Scott was a true Monster Kid and a friend to us all and he will be missed.

For this episode Mary, Nic, and Juan head south of the border to check out a Luchador style hero, who never enters the ring! He’s Neutron the Atomic Superman and he’s out to stop some easy bake over zombies and a mad scientist (also in a Luchador mask) in “Neutron VS the Death Robots”. It’s got everything you would expect from the title… except of course for robots, they’re really baked zombies… but anyway, it’s lots of fun! So, get ready for monsters and mayhem from Neutron, the discount Santo!

Episode 413: El Hacha Diabolica! (Santo VS the Diabolical Hatchet)

The B-Movie Cast is back! Mary is finally done with the outage, Nic is back from California and Juan made his way out of the creepy swamps so we’re ready for a new episode! This time on the cast we’re looking at a Juan pick- get ready for some Lucha libre action with “El Hacha Diabolica” also know as “Santo vs The Diabolical Hatchet!”

This is a Santo origin story movie that explains why he has to keep his mask on… except for showing his girlfriend when she asks… why Santo doesn’t use weapons and were his powers come from… sort of.
Hey, it’s got a hatchet, and it’s diabolical! What more do you want?

So sit back, grab a beer and a TV dinner and check out “El Hacha Diabolica”!
